What a beautiful weekend! Last year 40 degrees with rain and this year 80 degrees with plenty of sun. I only caught a couple walleyes and a perch but the weather made up for the bad fishing. Of course not everything could be perfect as the DNR boated up to tell us on Friday that there is now a ban on camp fires due to the dry weather. It was odd sitting around a fire pit with black logs and made it interesting cooking dinner which did require a camp fire. Oh well, it was still a lot of fun and can't wait until next year.
