Wolfmother

Where in the hell did this band come from? They must have been lost in the outback chasing kangaroos because damn they kick some major ass!! Australians Myles Heskett, Chris Ross and Andrew Stockdale formed Wolfmother in early 2004 later releasing a independent EP which Wolfies adored (their fans are called "Wolfies" incase you didn't know). Wolfmother is known for putting on a great live show which they tried their best to capture on their debut self titled album released in early May of 06'. With the voice similar to Jack White at times and the sound of rock dinosaurs Led Zeppelin & Black Sabbath makes you want to break out the black lights, psychedelic velvet posters & lava lamps. This band truly rocks and rocks hard! The ablum consists of 13 tracks (14 on the iTunes download with a live version of Colossal). Every song on this album could be a single. So far they have released White Unicorn, Woman, Mind's Eye and Dimension. Some other tracks to listen to, Joker & The Thief, Love Train and Colossal. Great album, go out an buy it!
